How to Change a Windows XP Product Key

1. Type 'Regedit' in the white text field, and click OK. This should open the Registry Editor.
2. Navigate to the following registry key. Hkey_local_machine\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Current Version\WPAEvents
3. Right click 'OOBETimer', in that registry key that you just navigated to and then click 'Modify'.
4. Change one or more digits to anything random or delete them, should stay 0000..
5. Click start and then click run.
6. Paste '%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a', in the white text field.
7. Select 'Yes, I want to telephone a customer service representative to activate Windows', then click next.
8. Click "Change Product key"
9. Type the new product key into the small white text fields and then click update.
10. Check that you get a message similar to 'You have successfully activated your copy of Windows.', if you do, restart your computer, and you're done!

Saia de todos os programas do Microsoft Office.

1. Clique em Iniciar e, em seguida, clique em Executar .
2. Na caixa Abrir , escreva regedit e, em seguida, clique em OK .
3. Expanda a seguinte chave de registo:
   • Para o Word 2003:
     HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Word\Data
4. Na painel da esquerda, clique na pasta dados e, em seguida, prima DELETE para eliminar a chave de registo de Data.
5. Quando receber a seguinte mensagem, clique em Sim para confirmar a eliminação:
   Tem a certeza de que pretende eliminar esta chave?
6. No menu registo , clique em Sair .
7. Inicie o Word sem utilizar o parâmetro /a .

Se o Word é iniciado e funcionar correctamente, o problema foi resolvido. O problema era uma chave de registo danificado.

2. Delete a file called config.xml (this will remove any trace of you on skype on this computer)

3. Delete any chatXXXX.dbb files that are in the above folder. These contain pointers to who you have been chatting with and some encrypted information about the actual chat

4. open up the folder called CHATSYNC and delete the entire contents of it

I am no expert but as far as I can see this should help all of you that need to get rid of any incriminating evidence ....

Na Austrália, acaba de ser anunciado um pequeno “milagre da gravação”, com o desenvolvimento de uma tecnologia que permite armazenar num único DVD os dados de 300.
O feito foi alcançado por uma equipa de investigadores da Universidade de Tecnologia de Swinburne, que descreve a nova gravação de dados em suporte óptico como um método a «cinco dimensões», noticia a BBC.

Para os que ainda duvidam, eis os números apresentados pela equipa de Swinburne: um DVD standard de uma única camada armazena, em média, 4,7 GB; os investigadores australianos conseguiram, através de um processo que tira proveito das propriedades de partículas de ouro e da manipulação dos feixes laser, gravar no mesmo suporte 1,6 TeraBytes (TB) de informação.

Os responsáveis pelo projecto acreditam que este mesmo método pode ser usado para, no futuro, se desenvolver o primeiro DVD com capacidade de armazenamento de 10 TB.

Não é por acaso que o método é classificado como tendo «cinco dimensões» - na verdade, os investigadores acrescentaram à profundidade, largura e comprimento das células de dados, uma dimensão espectral (relacionada com as cores da luz) e outra de polarização (que varia com a quantidade de laser absorvido durante o processo de gravação de um DVD).

Os investigadores australianos acreditam que esta tecnologia tem condições para enveredar pela via comercial dentro de 10 anos.
